Participation
in Meetings / Conference / Symposia:
Mr. Balaji Ganesh submitted the PhD thesis entitled “Isolation and characterization of filarial antigens with diagnostic potential” at Nagpur University in faculty of Medicine.
Mr. Y.P. Bhandari submitted the PhD thesis entitled “Lymphatic filarial parasite: studies on morphological features, seroreactivity enzyme character” at Nagpur University in faculty of Medicine.
Dr. Swati Bera presented a research work on “Detection of tubercular serine protease antigen and its antibody in CSF and serum in childhood tuberculous meningitis” in Academy of medical science at MGIMS on 16th June, 2004.
Mr. Sandeep Kulkarni presented a research work on “Seroreactivity of FPLC purified CFA2 fractions in different groups of filarial endemic population” in Academy of medical science at MGIMS, Sevagram on 16th June, 2004.

Term project:
Mr. Bhushan Kavimandan from department of Biochemistry, Shri. Shivaji college of Science, Alkola completed summer training course at JB Tropical Disease Research Centre in Biotechnology during May 1-May 30, 2004.
Ms. S. Arun Meena from Bioinformatics Centre, Dept. of Botany, Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu completed Summer training at Bioinformatics centre on Bioinformatics during May 1st to June 30th, 2004.
